Class of 1942 Class Day- June 4, 1990  For years of devoted service to his fellow man, especially the mentally and criminally institutionalized, and those impoverished by war; for dedicated public service in the highest appointive state executive office, as Commissioner of Administration; and for his outstanding contribution to the airlines and shipping industries as the MassPort Authority and as special assistant to the United States Secretary of Transportation.
